Head Massage

Thai Combination Massage

Combination massage is a good alternative to visiting the Chiropractor and many clients say it is even more effective. Combination massage can assist posture, walk and pain relief. A combination massage is highly individualised. It is therefore vital that clients communicate their precise needs to the therapist before the start of the session.

Combination massage is so named because it combines a deep tissue massage with a stretching massage, with a blend of passive stretching where joints are very gently extended.  Joints and ligaments are stretched often into positions they have not been stretched for months or even years for some people. This is followed by an oil massage which relieves stress, tiredness and will leave you feeling refreshed and completely relaxed.

Natural, massage oils are used for the smooth flowing massage strokes to relieve tension in the back, shoulder and neck. This ensures improved blood circulation, reduced stress levels and improved sleep whilst boosting the body’s healing capability.

Other physical benefits include detoxification, increased mobility and muscle flexibility, improved posture and balance, relief from arthritis and back pain. You will also enjoy improved concentration, higher levels of stamina and energy and reduced stress and anxiety.

Back Massage

Swedish Massage

This deeply restorative treatment is specifically designed for tight, stressed and aching muscles. Whether it’s a heavy exercise schedule or too many hours spent sitting at your desk, your body can easily become stiff, tight and painful. Swedish and cross muscle fibre massage techniques, with stretching and draining, are combined with essential oils known for their beneficial effects on the circulation which helps disperse the build up of lactic acid that causes stiffness and pain.

Swedish massage is a common type of massage that uses four main techniques called Effleurage,  Petrissage, Kneading and Tapotement to manipulate soft tissue for relaxation and holistic therapeutic purposes.  The technique involves rubbing muscles together to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and reduce emotional stress.
